Challenge = Finished!

i just finished the Dance Moms 30 Day Challenge! have any of you done it? any thoughts?

Challenge Day 30: Quote from the Show to Live By

"...I might not be as good as her, but I'm working on it." - Mackenzie

this quote is a motivator to tell your self than you can keep improving your skills to be as good as the person you look up to :)

Challenge Day 29: A Song That Reminds You of "Dance Moms"

"Party Party Party" - Ashley Jana

this song was actually used for the first group on the show and i absolutely love it!!!! it is one of my favorite songs!! i actually have a dance made up for it (a group one mind you)!!

Challenge Day 28: Song You Want to be used for Group (2/2)

"Downtown Girl" - Hot Chelle Rae

in order for this to work the way i see it, it would have to be 3 girls & 3 boys with one of those girls being featured as the "downtown girl". it's hard to explain my vision.....but this would be an awesome dance!

Challenge Day 27: Song You Want to be used for Group (1/2)

"Disney Mambo #5" - Lou Bega

i think would make a cute group dance but it would have to be the disney version not the regular version. theres actually a part in the song that goes like this:

"Jump up and down and move it all around Shake your head to the sound Put your hands on the ground Take one step left and one step right One to the front and one to the side Clap your hands once and clap your hands twice And if it looks like this then you doin' it right"

it'd be neat if they took a few seconds from the dance and actually did this :)

Challenge Day 26: Song You Want to be used for Trio

"Hot N Cold" - Katy Perry

i believe this would make an awesome trio for chloe, paige, and maddie! they could rock this! i think if it was even 2 girls & 1 boy it would still be great (just don't use brandon...he'd be too old with the girls unless you used brooke & paige who are the oldest but it would still be weird...)

Challenge Day 25: Song You Want to be used for Duet

"Dance Forever" - Allstar Weekend

this is another upbeat song (can you tell i like fast songs? lol) that i think could make a jazz duet...i kinda see nia in it but i don't know who else

Challenge Day 24: Song You Want to be used for Solo (3/3)

"I'll Be Yours" - Those Dancing Days

this is a song which i think would make the dance involve quite a bit of emotion. i dont know what type of dance it would be because of the weird beat & tempo, but i still think it'd be neat to see!

Challenge Day 23: Song You Want to be used for Solo (2/3)

"I Like to Dance" - Hot Chelle Rae

dancing is pretty much the basis of this song lol
i can see this as a tap solo for maddie considering how well she can tap and how she puts emotion and feeling into everything. yeah it's fast, but that means harder skills & room for improvement! personally i think this would be fun!

Challenge Day 22: Song You Want to be used for Solo (1/3)

"A Different Side of Me" - Allstar Weekend

yeah it would have to be edited somewhat because it is from a guys perspective (like being on the football team) but i actually think this would make a great upbeat solo for paige or even nia because through the lyrics and the dance they could show people that there is more to their skills than the world (mainly dance moms fans) knows
